BUDGET DEBATE CONTINUED (F.0.P.R.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. Thirty-three speakers—l 6 Government and 17 Opposition—have now taken part in the financial debate which was continued in the House of Representatives to-day. The debate has now extended over seven sitting days and will be continued next week when the House resumes after the week-end adjournment. The speakers to-day were Mr J- T. Watts (Oppn., Riccarton), Mr E. L. Cullen (Govt., Hawke’s Bay), Mr E. P. Aderman (Oppn., New Plymouth), Mr H. C. Combs (Govt., Wellington Suburbs), and Mr J. A. Roy (Oppn Clutha) The House rose at 5.30 p.m. till 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday.
