MARRIAGE PLANS
AUSTRALIAN CENTENARIAN
BRISBANE, Aug. 4.
At the age of 103 Edward Hawkins, of Cairns, plans to marry again this Christmas. His prospective wife is over 70. He first married an English girl in Sydney more than 70 years ago. She died about 20 years ago. Hawkins came to Australia from Kent as a youth. His 103rd birthday will be on August 25. He has been drinking and smoking as long as he can remember.
