OFFENDER HEAVILY FINED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, June 8. A justice of the peace, Ernest Henry Wright, aged 60, who is well known for the part he has taken since the war in matters relating to military defaulters and their dependents, was this morning fined £SO on a charge of assisting in the concealing of a man who escaped from a defaulters’ detention camp: The defendant was also charged with harbouring a man who had escaped, but this information was dismissed.
