VISIT TO ART GALLERY
Accompanied by the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr and Mrs D. C. Cameron, Sir Harry and Lady Batterbee visited the Dunedin Public Art Gallery yesterday afternoon. They were welcomed by the president (Sir Lindo Ferguson) and after the gallery had been inspected,. afternoon tea was served. Thofce present included Mrs Gerald Ferguson, Mr and Mrs A. H. Allen, Mr and Mrs A. H. Fisher, Mr and Mrs H. Mandeno, Dr and Mrs F. Fitchett, Mr and Mrs A. C. Mathieson, Dr Russell Ritchie, Mr Downie Stewart and Miss Downie Stewart, Miss Kathleen Salmond, Miss Theomin, Messrs F. D. Barron, R. Hudson, J. A. Roberts, Gordon Tovey, R: H. Neilson, and Crs. W. B. Taverner and L. M. Wright.
