NEW AIRCRAFT CARRIER
LEVIATHAN LAUNCHED RUGBY, June 7. The Duchess of Kent to-day launched the aircraft-carrier H.M.S. Leviathan, at Wallsend. The ship’s equipment includes petrol-filler arrangements from tanks distributed throughout the ship, an air-cooling plant and de-icing arrangements, kinemas for the crew, and a hospital with an operating theatre.
