DECLARATION OF HOLDINGS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 8. The new financial measure compelling the declaration of all holdings of Treasury banknotes over 50 francs, which was recently announced by the French Minister of Finance, also affects holdings in New Zealand. This was pointed out to-day by M. A. de la Tribouille, Delegate in New Zealand for the Provisional Government of the French Republic. The expiry date in New Zealand for the exchange of both bank notes and Treasury and other bonds for new issues is June 14.
