ARABIAN NIGHT BEATS PLATFORM STEWARD AGAIN SUCCESSFUL The second day of the Dunedin Jockey Club's winter meeting was held yesterday ih fine weather, and the very large attendance had the pleasure of participating in' some interesting racing. The track had dried up since the first day, but the going was more sticky and holding. The totalisator handled £57,181, compared with £32,172 last year, an increase of £25,009. The gate receipts for the day amounted to £IO4O 2s 6d, compared with £505 17s 6d last year. The following are the details:— ROSLYN STEEPLECHASE HANDICAP, Of £250, second horse £35, third £ls.
