DISTRIBUTION OF POULTRY FEED

Sir, —May I suggest that the Government makes all who have to register poultry next month put down their other income, apart from poultry, and only allow a certain number to be kept accordingly This is the only way to protect the man and his family who are entirely dependent on fowls for a living. Let him have the first consideration in allocating tire rationed fowl feed, and let him have the chance to produce the eggs which are so scarce. He has the time and experir ence to know how to manage this line. If this plan were adopted it would prevent the poultry farmer from either reducing his stock or giving It up. after years of hard work. —I am, etc., Poultryman.
