THE CAPE SAUNDERS ROAD

Sir, —As ratepayers of the Peninsula County Council, we beg to inquire why the Cape Saunders road has remained blocked for so long. We require to know why the Sandymount and Hooper’s Inlet roads were cleared before our road, as both these districts were served by alternative routes. Many ratepayers of Cape Saunders have suffered the inconvenience of a blocked road, while a select few have had the privilege of a cleared right-ot-way. If the chairman of the Peninsula County Council should reply to this letter, will he state what instructions, if any, were given to the foreman? —We are, etc., K. L. McCutchcon and J. R. Dick. Cape Saunders, May 25.
