SATURDAY AFTERNOON WORK

WELLINGTON UNION IN FAVOUR (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 24. It is reported that at a stop-work meeting this morning the Wellington Waterside Workers’ Union voted for resumption of work on Saturday afternoons. It is understood that'similar meetings were held in Auckland, Lvttelton and Dunedin. The Wellington union would not make a statement on the matter when approached this afternoon.
