FISH MARKET
Supplies were somewhat limited and prices showed a firmer tendency at yesterday morning's fish auction. With the exception of red cod, of which there was a small surplus, all varieties were quickly cleared. Prices ranged as follows: —Lemon soles 8d to BJd per lb; English soles, 6d to 6jd per lb; flounders, 6d to 6Jd per lb; brill, llid per lb; groper, lljd per lb; ling, 5d to 5Jd per lb; red cod, 20s to 22s per large case.
