LANCASTER’S NON-STOP FLIGHT

RUGBY) May 17.

A Lancaster Aries from the Empire Air Navigation School of the R.A.F. Flying Training Command today completed a suer essful non-step flight over the north geographical pole from a base in Iceland, says an Air Ministry message. The Aries left Iceland at 3.23 p.m. on Wednesday and returned at 10.6 a.m. to-day. It is calculated that the Aries was over the pole about 1 o’clock this morning.
