BROWN BEATS RAYNER (PA.) _ GISBORNE, May 18.
Billy Brown, of Wellington, last night scored his second technical knock-out in Gisbcrne, when the referee stopped his fight with Clarrie Rayner, New Zealand champion feather-weight, in the fifth round and awarded the decision to Brown. Brown, in a previous tournament, defeated N. Woods, cf Wellington, in the late stages of the latter’s first professional fight.
