WINDSOR WELCOME HOME

The Windsor Hall was packed to welcome home Private George Hampton. Mr H. A. Ellery, in welcoming the guest, made reference to the death of President Roosevelt, and all present stood as a mark of respect. Mr Ellery then made a presentation to the guest of a leather suitcase, with the good wishes of the district. The Rev. Mr Fordyce, Mr D. 11. Scott (R.S.A.), Mr A. Malcolm (Patriotic Committee) and Mr T. Little (Football Club) also welcomed the guest Items were contributed by Mrs A. Lory. Jackson's Orchestra supplied the music, and Mr Fiddes was the M.C.
