TO-MORROW’S ATTRACTIONS
The ladies’ marching competition will take place at the Oamaru Show Grounds to-morrow, commencing at 2 p.m. There will be 11 marching exhibitions, and the teams include the eleventh-hour entry of a bevy of girls. The Pipe Band has consented to put on a marching display, and the Rugby Union has arranged a match, Old Boys v. Athletic, to start about 3 o’clock. One of Glffen’s buses will run from the Junction via the South School at 1.20, and the usual bus will leave the Post Office at 1.30. At night a dance will be held In the Scottish Hall, when the marching prizes, aggregating £23 10s, will be presented.
