CHURCHILL’S VISIT CONCLUDED

RUGBY, Mar. 26. Mr Churchill has returned to Britain following his visit to Field-mar-shal Montgomery’s headquarters, says a Downing street announcement. Mr Churchill crossed the Rhine again to-day before he left and visited tha forward positions in the Second Army bridgehead. Accompanied by Fieldmarshals Brooke and Montgomery and General Dempsey, he drove in a jeep across a bridge, and saw the great line of tanks and other vehicles moving across into the bridgehead. During a three hours’ stay in the bridgehead he visited several headquarters and many troops on the site of Saturday’s battles.
