GALLANTRY ON ESCORT DUTIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 19. Advice has been received from the Admiralty that the King has approved of the following awards:— Distinguished Service Cross Temporary Lieutenant (A) Allan Russell Burgham; mother, Mrs E. Burgham, Auckland. Mentioned in Despatches Temporary Lieutenant (A) John William Robert O'Shea; wife, Mrs M. O’Shea, England; mother, Mrs E. M. O’Shea, Wellington. The awards have been made for gallant service in the escort of a convoy to North Russia. Both arc members of the R.N.Z.N.V.R.
