Empire Theatre. Susanna Foster, Donald O'Connor, and Peggy Ryan are starred in the Universal comedy, “ This is the Life.” State Theatre.—Linda Darnell and Jack Onkie are featured with Dick Powell in the hilarious comedy, " It Happened Tomorrow.” Strand Theatre.—Two comedy-murder films, " Nine Lives are not Enough,” featuring Ronald Reagan, Joan Perry, and James Gleason; and " Murder in the Blue Room,” with Grace McDonald, Donald Cook, and Ann Gwynne. Octagon Theatre.—Anna Neagle and Richard Greene appear with the English comedian Cyril Fletcher in the mysterycomedy film “ Yellow Canary. ’ Grand Theatre.—The western comedy, “ Cowboy Canteen,” starring Vera Vague, Jane Frazee, and Charles Starrett; and the chilling mystery, “ The Soul of a Monster,” with Rose Hobart and George MDcrGsdv Mayfair' Theatre. —Rosalind Russell, Brian Aherne, and William Baxter take the leading roles in " What a Woman ; and Johnny Weissmuller is starred in the thrilling adventure film, “ Tarzan Triumphs.”
