DIVISION’S STAFF TO BE INCREASED

(P A.) WELLINGTON. Mar. 16. For the purpose of assisting industry ar.d satisfying its requirements of raw materials in the reconstruction period, it has been decided to increase the staff and facilities of the geological survey division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research. Making this statement to-night, the Minister at present in charge of the department, Mr A. H. Nordmeyer, said that the collection of information required by the regional committees of the Organisation for National Development would also be facilitated The Minister added that a special effort would be made to publish several geological and soil survey bulletins which had been held over because of the war.
