OBITUARY
One of Otago’s old Identities, Mrs D. Watters, of Green Island, died on December 29 in .her ninety-third year. She was formerly Miss Jane Rennie, daughter of Mr William Rennie, of Falkirk, Scotland, and she married Mr Daniel Watters, of Crieff, Scotland, in 1876. The '“couple came out to Dunedin in March, 1877 and took up residence in Green Island in 1881. Mrs Watters is survived by her husband and a family of six daughters and two sons, and there are 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
