JAPAN’S RADIO SETS
LIMITED RECEPTION
(Rec. 11 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. 4. The Tokio radio cautioned the Japanese to go to bed as soon as the Japanese network programme ends to conserve radio listeners’ vitality and the life of 5,000,000 medium wave receiving sets In Japan. The Associated Press points out that short-wave can be received by relatively few sets in Japan, which are owned by officials, industrialists, and military leaders. Even the limited reception, however, has caused concern.
