FAIR TO CLOUDY AND MILD Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— , Situation. A depression in the North Tasman is approaching the South Island. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.—Light to moderate and variable winds, with , westerly directions predominating; weather fair to cloudy and mild. Further Outlook.—Similar conditions probable. Weather in Dunedin.—Although the sky was overcast, the weather in Dunedin ' yesterday - was. warm. A little light rain fell, and thbre was a breeze from the north-east.
