CALTAUX RETURNING HOME

MELBOURNE, Jan. 2.

The New Zealand welter-weight boxer, Vic Caltaux, -will return home as soon as transport is available. The manager of Stadiums, Ltd., Mr Harry Miller, to whom Caltaux has been under contract, said the New Zealander had been offered other fights in Australia, but insisted on returning home He would, however, come back at a later date if he was matched with the Queensland welter-weight, Tommy Burns, in either Melbourne or Sydney. Burns defeated Caltaux by a technical knock-out when they met in Brisbane last month, but the New Zealander complained that the referee had stopped the fight against his wishes.
