M.T.A. STUDENTS’ CLUB The president of the M.T.A. Students’ Club, Mr C. R. Spackman, presided over a good attendance of members in the Pioneer Women’s Hall on Saturday night, when members gave the # monthly recital. Mr Spackman inti-* mated that the council of the Registered Music Teachers’ Association had agreed to give prizes for an original pianoforte solo, to be composed by a member of the Students’ Club. An interesting and varied programme was opened by a group of St. Dominic’s Convent pupils singing Brahms's "Lullaby” and “When Twilight Weaves” (Beethoven). Piano solos were played by Margaret Gardiner, Josephine Aldridge, Joyce Seaton, Merle Lemin. Beth Reid, and Marjory Holdaway. A piano duet was presented by Mabel Miller and Marjory Holdaway. and vocal solos by Daphne Bunt, June Holmes. Shirley LeGal, Aida Skinner, Allan Taylor, and George McKay.
