Poultry: Light condition, 2s 3d to 3s ea.; medium condition hens, 4s to 5s ea.; heavy breeds, 5s to 6s ea.; geese, 4s to 5s ea.; turkeys, Is 2d to Is 4d per lb, live weights; ducks. 3s 9d to 4s 6d ea. Potatoes: At Government fixed rates. Whole fowl wheat, 24s to 25s per sack. Chaff; Prime oaten sheaf. £7 15s per ton, ex truck, bags extra. Whole maize: Limited supplies only.- Oyster grit, 6s 6d per 1001 b bag. Straw: Wheaten, 2s 6d per bale. Canterbury onions: In short supply. Lucerne meal, 12s 6d per -sack. Lucerne chaff, 7s 6d per sack. We stock chickfoods, oyster grit, oat dust, gristed wheat, 20s 1501 b. Under-grade wheat, 21s sack. We have a small supply of barley dust and Farrofood.
