BATTLE OF FORMOSA
ANOTHER SUPER-FORTRESS RAID (Rec. 1.45 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 16. The War Department announced that Super-Fortresses again joined in the battle of Formosa, bombing military targets on the island in daylight to-day. Formosa has now been bombed every day for nearly a week. There is yet no confirmation, from American sources of the Japanese reports that the Imperial Navy is in action off Formosa.
