BRITISH OFFICERS
OPERATING IN GREECE LONDON, Oct. 4. Greek Government circles in London state that British officers are operating in Tripolitza, in the heart ,of Peloponnesus, part of the Greek mainland. German security battalions surrendered to the British. Representatives of the Greek Government who arrived in Tripolitza were warmly welcomed, and all Elas units in Peloponnesus declared unreserved obedience to the National Government. Ankara radio stated that the Greek Government had arrived at the /Egean island of Chios in an Allied bomber.
