“BUND” LEADERS

ON HUNGER STRIKE - NEW YORK. Aug. 30 Fritz Kuhn, the former “fuhrer” of the German-American Bund, and 2o other German civilian internees at Fort Scranton, New Mexico, have begun the second week of a hunger strike as a protest that the recreational facilities are inadequate. Kuhn and his companions apparently lost little weight in the first week, and officials believe they have food hidden.
