MISSING MAN

BODY FOUND IN BUSH The body of Mr Francis Edward Newall, aged 58, a well-known business man in Dunedin, who had been missing from his home in Highgate since 2 p.m. on Friday, was found yesterday afternoon in the bush above the Queen’s drive, adjacent to the Moana lawn tennis courts. Members of the Dunedin Rotary Club, of which Mr Newall was a prominent member, assisted the police in carrying out a search in various parts of the city yesterday, and the discovery of the body was made by a party that decided to search the Town Belt from Arthur street.

An inquest will be held this morning.
