ANOTHER LARGE DRAFT i ————— ARRIVAL THIS AFTERNOON Another large draft' of men who have been orought back from the Pacific area for direction into essential industry will arrive by the express from Christchurch at 4.18 p.m. to-day. About 50 men will leave the train at Dunedin, and arrangements have been made for the erection of enclosures at the south end of the station for their next-of-kin. Admission to the enclosures will be granted on the production of a telegram from Base Records or from a member of the draft, and the holder of such a telegram will be permitted to nominate other relatives who wish to enter the enclosure. The men returning to Ranfurly, Omakau and Alexandra will leave the i train at Palmerston, and those for Miller’s Flat and Roxburgh at Milton. The draft will include about 70 men for the Invercargill military area, and the Otago Provincial Patriotic Council has made arrangements to provide cups of tea for all the troops travelling south.
