DEATH BY HANGING

NEGRO SOLDIERS’ CRIME LONDON, June 15.

An American military court in South Wales imposed the death sentence by hanging on two American coloured soldiers for offences against a 30-year-old woman of Barry. She was crossing a field towards a hospital where she had been a patient when intercepted by the two men, who threatened her with violence before the offences were committed. The woman next day picked out the accused from a parade of 800 coloured men. Their defence was mistaken identity.
