FAIR TO FINE Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Winds between north-east and northwest; fresh at times; weather fair to fine, with moderate day temperatures. Further Outlook.—Some scattered rain developing in the western ranges and in the south, but mainly fair elsewhere. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather in Dunedin yesterday was fine, and temperatures were mild . There was a light breeze from the north-east. The barometer dropped slightly during the evening, and at midnight the reading was 30.06 in (1018 millibars)..
