WOOLLEN MILLS DANCE

Another very successful dance was held by the Oamaru Woollen Mills Social Committee on Saturday night. Sisters and nurses of the Oamaru Public Hospital and Victoria Home were the guests of the evening. The winners of the lucky spot dances were Staff Nurses Newlands and Scott Miss N. Smith and Mr Irvine, Miss Wilson and Mr Orr, Miss Minty and Mr Smith. A song was given by Miss D. Lang. Doug. Kedzlie’s Melody-makers supplied the music, with extras by Miss J. Crump and Corporal H. J. Whyte, R.N.Z.A.F. Mr R. Rae was M.C.
