SERVICING COMMANDOS
RUGBY, June 12. It is revealed that R.A.F. servicing commandos went ashore at dawn on the first day of the landings in France, and by mid-day were ready to service and refuel the first Hurricanes to land on a beach-head airfield. Within 48 hours the airfield was fully operating.
