FORMER BILLIARDS CHAMPION

DEATH OF H. W. STEVENSON (Rec. 10 p.m.) LONDON, June 12. The death has occurred of H. W. Stevenson, world billiards champion from 1909 to 1911 and the first English player to make a break of 1000 after the abolition of the spot stroke. He was 69 years of age.
