AMUSEMENTS

EMPIRE THEATRE

BIG COMEDY FEATUREA big comedy feature, “Let’s Face It,’’ which heads the new bill at the Empire Theatre, provided popular entertainment for the large audiences present at yesterday’s sessions. With Bob Hope and Betty Hutton in the title roles the fun waxes fast and furious from the start. “Let’s Face It” undoubtedly ranks in the top flight of the year’s comedy films. It is a screen version of the Cole Porter-Herbert Fields-Dorothy Fields comedy hit of the same name, which played for several seasons with much success on Broadway. Among the most popular tunes are “ Let’s Face It ” and “ Let’s Not Talk About Love.” The box plans are at the theatre and the D.I.C.
