DIVORCE ACTION

HUSBAND AWARDED DAMAGES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 2. Damages of £375 were awarded by a jury of 12 to Alan Augustus Smith, foreman carpenter, against Rupert Joseph McKee, a labourer, who was cited as co-respondent in a divorce action against Eilc.on Constance Smitn on the ground of adultery. The claim was for £750. After the jury had given its verdict the question of condonation of the offence was argued by counsel, and Mr Justice Blair found that condonation had not been established and that the verdict of the jury would stand.
