N ESTIMATE prepared and approved the Maniototo County Council purit to Section 2, Sub-section 4, of The nties Amendment Act, 1931,’ showing the period commencing on the Ist of April, 1944, and ending on the day of MARCH, 1945. 1. THE PROPOSED EXPENDITURE of the said Council on: (a) Administration 3,005 (b) Works, including maintenance, etc., of Main Highways, Other Roads, and Machinery 17,272 (c) Interest, repayment of principal, Sinking Fund, Instalments on loans, etc. 599 (d) Hospital Levy payable to the Maniototo Hospital Board 2,974 (e) Miscellaneous 1,938 Total £25,788 2. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Maniototo County Council, at its next MEETING to be held on the 23rd day of June, 1944, to MAKE and LEVY a ’GENERAL RATE of THREE HALFPENCE (lid) in the Pound on the Capital Value of all the rateable property appearing upon the Valuation Rolls of the said County; a uniform annual charge of ONE POUND (£1) for the Removal of Rubbish and TWO POUNDS AND TEN SHILLINGS (£2 10s) for each and every SANITATION SERVICE in the RANFURLY TOWNSHIP AREA. SUCH RATES and CHARGES shall be for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1944, and ending on the thirty-first dav of MARCH, 1945, and shall be due and PAYABLE IN ONE SUM at the County Office, Pery street, Ranfurly, on the 15th dav of AUGUST, 1944.
