DISTRICT NURSES

Mr H. C. Jeffery drew the attentifli of the Waitaki Hospital Board yesterday to the change in the Government's attitude towards district' nurses, and on the motion of Mr N. 11. Colquhoun, the board decided to write to the Minister of Health (Mr A. H. Nordmeyer) stating that it noted with satisfaction that he intended to appoint district nurses, and washing him every success in the project.
