Waitaki club’s meeting
The Waitaki Collie Dog Club's annual trials were successfully concluded on Saturday. Mr D. Burnett presented the Burnett Memorial Cup to Mr D. C. Stevens. The results on the second and third days were as follows (Mr J. L. Parsons judged the huntawa.v and Mr E. H. Aubrey the long pull); Huntaway and Slew (Open).—Mr H. J. Jamieson's Tyke, 49 points, 1; Mr D. C. §tevens's Sweep, 46. 2; Mr W. R. Macaulay's Fog. 42, 3; Mr J. Binnie’s Nip. 41, 4. Maiden: Mr H. J. Jamieson's Tyke, 49 points, 1; Mr D. C. Stevens's Sweep, 46, 2; Mr J. Binnie’s Nip. 41, 3. Novice: Mr A. T. Valentine's Ginger, 32 points, 1; Mr C. Whatman’s Burke. 30, 2. ,
Long Pull.—Mr F. Golightly’s Nell, 45 points, 1; Mr R. Wilson's Glen, 44, 2; Milan Anderson's Jet, 43, 3; Mr D. A. Anderson's Don, 42. 4.
