Miss Cowan presided at the monthly meeting of the Women's Christian Temperance Union in the Wesley Hall on Monday. Devotions were taken by Mrs Hnwson. It was decided to hold the May meeting at night, and in view of Mothers’ Day, it was decided to ask all mothers to be present". A bring-aud-buy sale is to be held on the same night, the proceeds being for the mother of the triplets. Papers were read by Mesdames Walker and Mcllwraith on the progress of the W.C.T.U. in other lands.
