GENERAL JOLY DE LOTBINIERE

LONDON, Apl. 17. The death is announced of Majorgeneral Alain Joly de Lotbiniere. Major-general Jcly de Lotbiniere, who was born in Canada in 1862, was chief engineer of (he Anzacs in 1914, and served with this corps in Gallipoli and France. Pie was engineer-in-chief of the army of the Peninsula throughout the evaluation.
