CHANGEABLE WITH SHOWERS Forecast for Otago.—The following official weather forecast for Otago covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate to fresh westerly to northwesterly winds; weather rather changeable with isolated showers, but fair periods; temperatures moderate. further Outlook.'*^ — Continuing changeable with pold ' south-westerlies likely on Thursday. Weather in Dunedin.—The weather yesterday was fine and wapn. with bright sunshine. There was a mild north-west-erly breeze, which changed'to the southwest in the evening, bringing rain. The barometer remained fairly steady, and at midnight the reading was 30.05 inches (1018 millibars). The following are the meteorological observations taken yesterday at the Daily Times Office:—
