PROSECUTION DROPPED (Special) AUCKLAND, Apl. 6. A nolle prosequi has been entered by the Crown in the case in which George Brownlee Isdale, medical practitioner, of Ngaruawahia. was charged on a number -of counts of unlawfully using an instrument to procure miscarriage and of conspiring to procure abortion. This means that the prosecution has been abandoned. Juries twice disagreed on these charges, and at a second trial acauitted the accused ori sir out of nine charges. The Crown has also abandoned the prosecution of Edna Mary Kirman on two charges of procuring abortion. In her, case juries at three trials failed to agree.
