AIR TRAINING CORPS

Units of the Air Training Corps from the more distant .parts of Otago and Southland are in camp, at a local air station for the Easter holiday period. An open air programme of practical instruction has been arranged. Further expansion of the Air Training Corps is being effected by the organisation of training classes in several of the smaller country centres. The strength of town units has increased considerably during the past month, add a considerable increase in strength has also been reported in the case of almost every secondary school unit. The mobile instruction unit left Oamaru on Thursday for Christchurch, after completing a successful instructional tour of the Dunedin Wing.
