Messrs Alex. Harris, Ltd., report having sold by auction, on the premises, Waitati, last Saturday a freehold property consisting of four rooms and conveniences, together with the furniture, on account of the Public Trustee in the estate of Jane Brown. After spirited competition the property was knocked down to Mr J. J. G. Steel for £465. They also report having offered at auction yesterday, on account qf the Public Trustee in the estate of Helen Scott, a leasehold property known as No. 127 Glen road, consisting of a bungalow of live rooms and kitchenette. After spirited competition the property was sold to R. C. Johns for £1075.
