GOVERNMENT FAREWELL

MEMBERS OF OFFICIAL PARTY (F.0.P.R.) WELLINGTON. Apl. 4. ' A farewell function in honour of the Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, and Mr D. Wilson, who will go to Canada as New Zealand High Commissioner, was held to-day. It was attended by members of the Government party in both Houses. The best wishes of the gathering were extended by the Minister of Supply, Mr D. G. Sullivan.

Mrs Fraser will accompany the Prime Minister, and also in the party will be Mr A. D. Mclntosh, secretary of the war Cabinet and of External Affairs, and Miss K. G. Jordan, of the Prime Minister’s secretarial staff.
