STORE SHEEP VALUES EASIER (Special) OAMARU, Apl. 4. There were large yardings of fat sheep and store sheep and medium yardings of fat cattle and pigs at the Waiareka sale t'o-day. There was not such a keen demand for store sheep as at previous sales. Quotations: Fat Cattle.—Steers, £l3 5s to £ls 11s; small heifers, £5 2s Gd to £6 ss; cows, £8 to £lO ss. , , Fat Sheep.—Best wethers, 28s 3d to 31s; light, down to 26s sd; best ewes, 19s to 22s sd; medium, 16s 3d to 19s 7d; light, 12s 9d to 15s sd; pen of fat lambs, 345. Store Sheep.—Best ewe lambs, 27s to 30s; medium, 25s 3d to 265; wether lambs, 21s 6d to 25s 3d; best two-tooth ewes, 40s to 44s 6d: medium, 36s to 38s 9d; small, down to 30s; f.m. ewes. 19s to 245; f. and f.m. ewes. 14s to 17s Gd; f.m. ewes, 12s 9d. Dairy Cows.—Heifer in milk, £5; one at £1 10s. Pigs.—Slips, 28s 6d to 30s; wcaners, 21s 6d to 23s 6d; others, 16s to 17s 6d.
