REAPPOINTED TO HARBOUR BOARD Advice was received by the Oamaru Harbour Board yesterday from the Marine Department that the GovernorGeneral had appointed Messrs F. Hood and A. C. McLelland as members of the board for a term cf three years from April . 20. 1944. Mr McLelland said that was the answer to members and others who, lie alleged, bad worked hard to try and stop Ins appointment. Mr Hood said he knew nothing about his fellow-member, but it was against bis. plan of life to write to Wellington. Mr R. K. Ireland: Wc accept that assurance, Mr Hood. Mr McLelland: I can also join in that, If the papers go, I cannot help that.
