SITTING OF COMMITTEE A sitting of the Otago Land Sales Committee—Messrs E. J. Anderson (chairman), D. J. Ross, and Neil McNamara was held yesterday to deal with applications for the approval of the transfer of properties. An application by Samuel Bunting (Mr C H Stevens) for the transfer of a dwelling and allotment 1, subdivision of allotment 2, Musselburgh, to Stewart McAskill Buchanan and Gwendoline Kneller Buchanan (Mr R. L'. Fail-maid), was granted at £1450, decision being reserved in an application for costs against the Crown. Mr J W. Thomson appeared for the vendors. James Albert Dilloway .Brady and Margaret Jane Campbell Brady, in an application for the transfer of a dwelling and part allotment 2, block 24. St, Hilda, to Francis John McKenzie, the consideration being £B6O. Counsel said that the place was vacant and was a type of house which was in demand. In view ot the valuation his clients were prepared to sell at £750 —After hearing the evidence of two'valuers and the submissions of the Crown representative (Mr W. J. Mathers), the price was fixed at £725. The following applications, In which the price was £IOOO or more, were granted:— John Duncan Henderson (Mr W. F. Forrester) to Francis John Pay, dwelling and allotments 9, 14, and 15. and allotments 1 and 10 to 13, East Taieri; price £I6OO (land £I4OO, goodwill £200). ‘ James Reginald Hedges to Thomas Henry Faull and Rita May Faull, dwelling and lot 95. township of Parkside; price £1325. Norman Samuel McMillan to Albert Edward Wilkinson, dwelling and allotments 24 and 27, block 1, township of Sunnvside; price £IOOO. Myra Smith to Randolph Douglas Dick, dwelling and allotment 3, town of Dunedin; price £1195. Frances Hannah Boyland to Horace Edward Douglas Adams and Gladys Adams, dwelling and part sections 66 and 67, block 32, city of Dunedin: price £IO2O.
